CHICAGO -- New Family of Handheld Test Units Help Service Providers Accelerate Installation and Troubleshooting of Next Generation Broadband Services

Tech-X includes ADSL 2/2+, ATM, IP, and copper feature sets and allows service providers worldwide to install and troubleshoot next generation broadband services while increasing service efficiency with automated and integrated fault diagnosis.

The Tech-X field tester employs Spirent's automated expert diagnostics to accelerate the field troubleshooting process by analyzing and correlating various test results to identify faults and prioritize the ones with the greatest impact on service. Leveraging Spirent's Tech-X platform, service providers will possess the features required to quickly and confidently deploy and maintain xDSL, FTTx, and IP based services today and in the future. Using this solution, providers will experience the benefits of reduced repeat rates for DSL installation and repair and shorter job completion times for DSL work orders.
