:SPM SPM - Sequential Parlog Machine ) today announced that the company's market-leading CDMA2000 1X mobile device test solutions have been selected by the RITT (Research Institute of Telecommunications Transmission) and QUALCOMM Incorporated. (Nasdaq:QCOM QCOM Qualcomm, Inc. (stock symbol) ) to be deployed into the world-class MTNet-Beijing test center.

Spirent's integrated test solution will be used to verify that mobiles comply with cdmaOne(TM) (2G) and CDMA2000 1X (3G) mobile test standards. Spirent's C2K-ATS solution will help accelerate the rapid and reliable deployment of next-generation CDMA services in China. MTNet must certify a CDMA mobile's performance before it can be deployed on China Unicom's network or any other CDMA wireless network in China.

As part of QUALCOMM's commitment to the success of CDMA in China, it has collaborated with the Ministry of Information Industry (MII 1. (body) MII - A consortium of Microsoft, IBM, and Intel.
