Web content to end users on the Internet and Intranets up to 37 times faster than through traditional means. By caching dynamic Web content, companies can now host more concurrent users In computer science, the number of concurrent users for a resource in a location, with the location being a computing network or a single computer, refers to the total number of people using the resource at the same time.  on their Web sites, and significantly reduce the time end users have to wait for dynamic Web content to load.

"Our ability to deliver content and services up to 37 times faster with SpiderCache, while at the same time handling four times the volume on our existing server hardware helped our business tremendously," Bennett Hui, Web Developer at Investment.com. "We already have an outstanding delivery record. As our client base grows, with this technology we can continue to expand our selection of financial products with the confidence that our infrastructure will be able to handle the additional load without any problems."

"Dynamic caching delivers quicker e-business transactions and cost-efficient volume protection," explains SpiderCache Inc. "Because it gets the freshest information to a higher volume of users more efficiently without the need for additional server hardware or changes to existing page code, installation of SpiderCache helps companies reduce costs, while at the same time deliver Web information and content to their end users faster."

SpiderCache NT 1.0 builds on the existing infrastructure provided by the Microsoft Internet Information Service (IIS (Internet Information Services) Microsoft's Web server. IIS runs under the server versions of Windows, adding HTTP server capability to the Windows operating system. ), extending its functionality. A "plug and play" software solution that is up and running in minutes and can be fully configured for a Web site in hours, SpiderCache's performance-enhancement is achieved by reducing the need for IIS to perform server side-processing more than once for the same content. Slow content delivery becomes a thing of the past, making SpiderCache a key weapon against the US$4.35 billion that, according to according to

"We are always looking at ways to increase the responsiveness of the www.players-racing.com (www.teamplayers.ca in Canada) site to effectively handle the significant cyclical volume surges during CART season," comments Coniah Chuang, systems administrator for www.players-racing.com, the official website of the Player's Racing Team. "SpiderCache gave us a performance boost that no amount of additional hardware would have achieved. I loved that SpiderCache did not require us to change the way we do our work and its ability to be custom-configured."

About SpiderCache NT 1.0 and Dynamic Caching:

Increasingly, Web sites are built using a database infrastructure to deliver dynamic, customized content on "the fly", while providing for easy updates and maintenance. With this increased flexibility comes slower download times because each page is recreated for every visitor, significantly taxing the server processor. Recreating every page is redundant for most dynamic Web site content, since much of the content is the same for each user request. (For example, a Web site can deliver a custom page to each visitor with only the weather details or stock quotes differing from user to user.) SpiderCache alleviates this problem by caching the dynamic page the first time it is requested, and delivering the cached page to subsequent requests, greatly reducing the download time.

With SpiderCache NT 1.0, site administrators can choose to cache only portions of a Web page, clear a cache at a pre-set time or automatically as changes are made to the database. Paramaterized caching delivers granular granular /gran·u·lar/ (gran´u-lar) made up of or marked by presence of granules or grains.

configurability, allowing administrators to cache a page based on any page value, such as browser type, location, language or any number of other user-defined values. With SpiderCache NT 1.0, users are assured that dynamic content is accurate and fresh.
