Your "500 Biggest Tech Spenders" article was extremely interesting because it demonstrates a clear development of technology within large corporations. Nonetheless, the title, "Biggest Tech Spenders" does nothing more than accentuate ac·cen·tu·ate

1. To stress or emphasize; intensify:
 the absurd, and perhaps even ignorant, mentality that purchasing technology is a cost rather than the investment that it truly is. Why do many financiers view technology as a cost? Is their education at fault? Unfortunately, costs do arise when a company that is not technologically up to date decides to upgrade its systems.  upgrad[ing] of everything in sight, including technologically obsolete personnel. It would be interesting to read an article that talks about the benefits of this investment and doesn't call it a "expense."
