Speed work--what pace?


How do you pick a pace for your speed work? Of course, how fast you run will depend on how long each repetition REPETITION, construction of wills. A repetition takes place when the same testator, by the same testamentary instrument, gives to the same legatee legacies of equal amount and of the same kind; in such case the latter is considered a repetition of the former, and the legatee is entitled  is, how long your recovery interval interval, in music, the difference in pitch between two tones.  planning to undertake. In general, you should run evenly at as hard a pace as you can maintain over the distance. Use your 10K race pace to estimate repetition paces. This chart helps you estimate your repetition paces.

If you can run a 60-min. 10K:

400-meter rep should be 2:10

800-meter rep should be 4:30

1,200-meter rep should be 7:04

If you can run a 50-min. 10K:

400-meter rep should be 1:48

800-meter rep should be 3:46

1,200-meter rep should be 5:53

If you can run a 40-min. 10K:

400-meter rep should be 1:26

800-meter rep should be 3:00

1,200-meter rep should be 4:42

If you can run a 35-min. 10K:

400-meter rep should be 1:16

800-meter rep should be 2:38

1,200-meter rep should be 4:07
