SPEED RECORD FOR STORA ENSO
Stora Enso Oyj (NYSE: SEO, ) is a Finnish–Swedish pulp and paper manufacturer, formed by the merger of Swedish mining and forestry products company Stora and Finnish forestry products company Enso-Gutzeit Oy in 1998. Metso Paper Inc. representatives recently congratulated Stora Enso's Port Hawkesbury Mill and its employees for achieving another milestone for a daily world speed record, the most recent of which occurred July 6, 2003 on the PM 2 paper machine. The recorded speed was 1800 meters a minute for a 24-hour period.
