Speed Queen products improve amenities, cut operating costs. (What's New).

Speed Queen's line of commercial laundry equipment, featuring its new MicroDisplay[R] controls, enables multifamily housing professionals the opportunity to improve amenity services while reducing operating costs.

Available in either coin or card-ready activation, the new controls improve amenity services by making the laundry process easier for residents. First, residents can see how much time is remaining before their load completes the cycle, a feature that is especially helpful during busy hours of operation. Second, on coin activated models, the display counts the coins as they are inserted.

The topload washer uses only 25.5 gallons of water per cycle when using the factory preset Water Saver setting, reducing water use by 6.5 gallons per cycle compared to traditional mechanical models. The frontload washer qualifies for the Energy Star rating for its superior water conservation. Paired with the dryer, both washers offer superior water and energy savings to multi-housing owners.
