Spectrum announces Microsoft BackOffice support for Point.Man software; ERP provider delivers latest Windows compatability.


WOBURN, Mass.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Dec. 11, 1995--Spectrum Associates, a leading supplier of client/server software for manufacturing and distribution organizations, today announced availability of Point.Man for Windows 95 and Windows NT on both client and server platforms.

Point.Man is a Windows-based suite of ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) An integrated information system that serves all departments within an enterprise. Support for the Microsoft BackOffice platform will be expanded later this month when Point.Man will be able run on Windows NT as a database server, followed by support for the Microsoft SQL Server A relational DBMS from Microsoft that is a major component of the Windows Server System.
