Stated Jeremy Maines, Director of Spectrum's Information Technology Division, "Last year's inaugural event produced new Safe Range orders of well over $1,000,000 and provided invaluable feed back from the participants, which we used to supplement the continuing development of this unique & critical military software application. We have found that bringing all the Safe Range licensees together from around the world helps everyone further their understanding of the current software configuration and explore new possibilities for both future Safe Range upgrades and other significant Spectrum IT projects." Just a few of the many groups expected to attend this second annual event are Safe Range users from all branches of the US Military, other Department of Defense organizations, the Royal Air Force (UK), the German Defense Forces, and the Royal Australian Air Force The Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) is the Air Force branch of the Australian Defence Force. In addition, the Spectrum Sciences Information Technology Division announced it has recently received over $269,000 in new Safe Range related orders in support of the US Air Force. Safe Range is a proprietary software application, developed by Spectrum Sciences & Software, Inc. which supports range managers in ensuring the safety of ground based personnel and assets in military air-to-surface weapon training operations.
