Information Technology Division Has Been Awarded Several

New U.S. Air Force Contracts

Spectrum Sciences & Software Holdings Corp. (OTCBB:SPSC), highly focused on homeland security through the provision of full-service, quality solutions in response to complex and diverse government initiatives, announced today that the inaugural Safe-Range International Users Conference held last week at the company's headquarters in Fort Walton Beach, Florida, was extremely successful. In other recent corporate events, Jeremy Maines, Director of the Information Technology division, announced, "Spectrum has recently been awarded several new Safe-Range software modification contracts from the U.S. Air Force with an expected lifetime value of over $300,000."

The conference brought together over seventy-five of Spectrum's Safe-Range software users from every branch of the U.S. military and many allied nations from around the globe. The conference helped to define the requirements for future versions of the software, as well as providing expert training on the new features and functionality included in the most recent release (Version 3.2). Stated David Heikkinen, Director of IT Business Development: "We are extremely pleased with the level of interest in the conference and the level of participation from all the different representatives who paid their own way to get here. The conference has generated a large number of new requirements for the software which will translate into many new orders for Safe-Range enhancements and modifications." Safe Range is a proprietary software application, developed by Spectrum Sciences & Software Holdings Corp., which supports range managers in ensuring the safety of ground based personnel and assets in military air-to-surface weapon training operations. Safe Range is now licensed by the US Air Force, the Department of the Navy (which includes the US Marine Corps) and a number of foreign military services. It is required for use by the USAF on every Air Combat Command (ACC) training range and is in exclusive use in range planning activities and safety operations within the Department of the Navy. It is also in use at major weapon testing ranges such as the Utah Test and Training Range (UTTR) and Eglin AFB, in Florida.
