Ecophon

The architectural consultant responsible for designing an important new children's hospital in Dublin, Ireland has made extensive use of Ecophon's Focus XL product. Specifying a 2000 X 600mm module for the ceilings over circulation areas, the company's Meditec E system has also been used within wards and treatment rooms. Specialist subcontractor, Kehoe Acoustics, installed close to 3000sqm of the Meditec E in units such as EEG, Dermatology and a Hepatitis C clinic, as well as spanning corridors with the plank-style Focus XL system.

Size does matter. A successful project related fire test in Hong Kong has demonstrated that Wrightstyle have increased the dimensional integrity and fire resistance of WSL F glass, while reducing its thickness to 32mm. WSL F glass 60/60 can go to a maximum panel width of 2.05m and a maximum height of 4m. WSL F glass 90/90 can be produced in 4.4[m.sup.2] panels, at a maximum width of 1.8m and height of 3.5m.
