Specialty Retailer Brookstone Makes a 'Landing' at BWI Airport; New Store Opens Today, Friday, Nov. 19.


BALTIMORE -- A new specialty retailer has arrived on the bustling scene of the Baltimore/Washington International Airport. Known for its innovative line of products for travel and auto, health and fitness, home and office and outdoor living, Brookstone is among the first wave of top-name retailers opening for business at the airport.

"Visitors to the 24th busiest airport in North America will discover exciting shops, restaurants and amenities designed to make their travel experience nothing short of world class," says Mark Knight, president of BAA Maryland, the company leading the development of more than 140,000 square feet of concession space in the terminals over the next two years. "We are thrilled to have a quality brand like Brookstone out of the gate. It sets the stage for all the new shops that will be introduced at the airport."
