AFS Recognition Luncheon, 11:45 a.m.

The luncheon will feature the Best Paper and Division Awards as well as the presentation of the Howard Howard, English noble family. Landowners in Norfolk from the 13th cent., the Howards obtained the duchy of Norfolk through the marriage of Sir Robert Howard to Margaret Mowbray, daughter of Thomas Mowbray, 1st duke of Norfolk.  Taylor Award and the Ray Witt Award.

AFS Annual Banquet A banquet is a large public meal or feast, complete with main courses and desserts. It usually serves a purpose, such as a charitable gathering, a ceremony, or a celebration. Sometimes a banquet consists of only desserts, but it is advisable to include main courses as well. , 7:00 p.m.

AFS President's Luncheon and Annual Business Meeting, 12:30 p.m.

The luncheon features the presentation of special awards, election of AFS officers and directors and election of CMI (Computer-Managed Instruction) Using computers to organize and manage an instructional program for students. It helps create test materials, tracks the results and monitors student progress.  officers and directors. In addition, the AFS/CMI Directors' Award will be presented.
