Special benefit to honor Westminster's Swill.


Bruce Mosler, president and chief executive officer of Cushman & Wakefield, and Andrew Merin, executive vice president of Cushman & Wakefield of New Jersey, Inc., are co-chairing a benefit dinner on May 16 sponsored by The Hebrew Academy for Special Children.

The dinner, which will take place at the Puck Building The Puck Building occupies the block bounded by Lafayette, Houston, Mulberry and Jersey Streets in the borough of Manhattan, New York City, USA. The award-winning summer program in the scenic Catskill Mountains Catskill Mountains, dissected plateau of the Appalachian Mt. system, SE N.Y., W of the Hudson River. This glaciated region, wooded and rolling, with deep gorges and many waterfalls, is drained by the headstreams of the Delaware River and by Esopus, Schoharie,  provides more than 275 special needs children and young adults with an opportunity to enjoy a wide range of recreational and therapeutic activities.

Mosler and Merin are sharing the event chairmanship with Mitchell E. Hersh, chief executive officer of Mack-Cali Realty Corporation, Robert Ivanhoe, of Greenberg Traurig Greenberg Traurig LLP is an international law firm with approximately 1,700 attorneys and governmental professionals in 29 locations in the United States, Europe and Asia. Its presence in Europe is supplemented by strategic alliances with Olswang (offices in London, United Kingdom , Charles Kushner and Richard Stadtmauer.

"Cushman & Wakefield is honored to be a part of this event and to lend support to such an outstanding organization," said Merin, who received the 2004 Humanitarian Award from HASC last year with his wife, Violetta. "HASC is doing a wonderful job in improving the lives of so many people in such important ways."

HASC chose Swill for this year's honor as a result of his extensive business accomplishments and volunteer activities, as well as his consistent commitment to Camp HASC over the years.

"The real estate industry consistently rallies around outstanding community efforts and honors its peers who demonstrate a strong sense of commitment to give back to society," Merin added.

"Bringing leading real estate professionals together to support an organization like HASC, and pay tribute to Kevin, is an honor for us."
