As your Special Needs Division Vice President, I will work within the Career & Technical Education community to achieve the following goals: * Ensure all special needs students receive a quality education * Provide a showcase for quality programs through the use of the ACTE website, email, and printed material to assist schools in building quality programs * Produce a newsletter and develop a listserve whereby special needs teachers can share instructional practices * Work with special needs interest groups to create a community of educators These goals cannot be accomplished without the thousands of Special Needs educators throughout the nation providing programs and services for special populations.
