Spatial Wireless today announced the appointment of Kjell S. Andersson as President and Chief Executive Officer. Mr. Andersson will be responsible for developing and driving the vision and business strategy as Spatial Wireless moves into the deployment phase with wireless service provider customers. Interim-CEO and co-founder Pardeep Kohli will continue with the company in the position of CTO (Chief Technical Officer) The executive responsible for the technical direction of an organization. Prior to joining Spatial Wireless, Mr. Andersson was an Executive Vice President with Omnipoint Corporation and the President and CEO (1) (Chief Executive Officer) The highest individual in command of an organization. Typically the president of the company, the CEO reports to the Chairman of the Board.  of Omnipoint Technologies where he provided the vision and direction of advanced wireless technologies. Mr. Andersson also spent 16 years with Ericsson where he served as Executive Vice President and General Manager for Ericsson Radio Systems AB in Stockholm, Sweden. In this position, he held global responsibility for Mobile Telephone Systems for European Standards, i.e; GSM 900, DCS (1) See also DSC.
