Marketing Group, Inc. today announced that it acquired by merger Marlton Technologies, Inc. Sparks owned approximately 83% of Marlton's stock, and the transaction was effected as a short-form merger. Sparks is owned primarily by the former senior management team of Marlton. As a result of the merger, each outstanding share of Marlton common stock automatically converted into a right to receive a cash payment of $8,750 per share.
