Space-age rest.

The Air-Rest by DoubleTake Archery is one of the most unique products to hit the market in a long time. Weighing only six ounces this innovative rest provides total containment and eliminates just about every problem associated with modern rests. Using magnetic levitation technology the Air-Rest actually suspends your arrow in the air eliminating arrow shaft and fletching contact, which are proven accuracy killers. Although the Air-Rest boasts quite a few features, the sheer simplicity of it is what makes it the most appealing. No moving parts to wear out or to make noise and no cords to worry about, separate this rest from all others on the market. The set up is fairly simple too. After choosing the arrows you want to shoot, cut them to the desired length and fit them with DoubleTake's Magnetic inserts (weighing in at 50 grains the magnetic inserts are about 25 grains heavier than average inserts). For me the arrow set up was the most time consuming part, everything else was a breeze. After mounting the Air Rest on my 70-pound compound I headed to the range to start the paper tuning process. It quickly became apparent that the paper tuning process would not take long, and in short order I had it dialed in. After that I started my practice session, and found the Air-Rest to deliver exactly as promised. Simply put this rest is quiet, reliable, maintenance-free, and most importantly, accurate.
