It was created by Ted Turner in 1980 to present 24-hour live news broadcasts, using satellites to transmit reports from news bureaus around the world. commentator Lou Dobbs is quoted as saying that the Bush administration's open-borders policy and its decision to ignore the enforcement of this country's immigration laws is part of a broader agenda. Although on the page before that he is quoted as saying, "It's astonishing a·ston·ish tr.v. as·ton·ished, as·ton·ish·ing, as·ton·ish·es To fill with sudden wonder or amazement. See Synonyms at surprise. .... This group of elites is talking about not defending our borders, finally, but rather creating new ones"--it really isn't astonishing at all. The publicly avowed a·vow tr.v. a·vowed, a·vow·ing, a·vows 1. To acknowledge openly, boldly, and unashamedly; confess: avow guilt. See Synonyms at acknowledge. 2. To state positively. policies of the administration to enforce border security are nothing but lip service designed to deceive the gullible. Nothing will be done. The ultimate goals of the administration and the Council on Foreign Relations The Council on Foreign Relations (CFR) is an influential and independent, nonpartisan foreign policy membership organization founded in 1921 and based at 58 East 68th Street (corner Park Avenue) in New York City, with an additional office in Washington, D.C. and their ilk, as pointed out throughout the entire October 2 issue, and these are openly avowed goals, are to achieve an economic and political union of Canada, the United States, and Mexico. This country must wake up and kill these sovereignty-destroying programs like the Security and Prosperity Partnership, the North American Union, and the NAFTA NAFTA in full North American Free Trade Agreement Trade pact signed by Canada, the U.S., and Mexico in 1992, which took effect in 1994. Inspired by the success of the European Community in reducing trade barriers among its members, NAFTA created the world's Super Highway before it is too late.
