The Hattiesburg MTA sponsored monthly recitals, a spring concert for high school students and a composer festival. The Vicksburg MTA held an annual boys' recital, an adult student event and a session called "Pipes, Pedals and Pizza." The Music Forum of Jackson scheduled a Sonata Festival and Bach Festival, while the Jones County MTA featured a Solo-Sonata Piano Competition and an Ensemble Festival.
