Transportation

Greensboro is served by the Piedmont Triad International Airport Piedmont Triad International Airport (IATA: GSO, ICAO: KGSO, FAA LID: GSO) (commonly referred to as "PTIA" or just "PTI") is an airport just west of Greensboro, serving Greensboro, High Point and Winston-Salem in North Carolina. . Delta. US Airways American Eagle, Continental Express. United and Northwest airlines all service the airport. Shuttles, taxis and hotel transportation are available. Greensboro also is served by Amtrak Amtrak, the National Railroad Passenger Corp., authorized to operate virtually all intercity passenger railroad routes in the United States. Amtrak was created by Congress in 1970 in response to more than two decades of continuous operating deficits by privately run  (800) 872-7245, and Greyhound bus (800) 231-2222.

Greensboro is accessible from 1-40 and 1-85. Contact the Local Coordinator for detailed driving directions. The School of Music is located on the corner of W. Market and Mclver Streets. Parking at the School Js available twenty-four hours a day at me rate of 75-cents/hour, with a $5/day maximum.

Reservations

A banquet will be held at 7:00 P.M. Friday, January 23, 2004, at the Elliott University Center, Willow Room; cost is $14.25 per person. The menu will include chicken breast stuffed with feta fet·a

A white semisoft cheese usually made of goat's or ewe's milk and often preserved in brine.

 cheese. A banquet also will be held at 7:00 P.M. Saturday, January 24, 2004, at the Elliott University Center, Willow Room; cost is $15.25 per person. This menu will include grilled flank steak. Reservations for the Friday and Saturday evening banquets must be postmarked by January 10, 2004.
