Southern California Edison Embraces Ivara Reliability Solution.

The Ivara solution moves the Power Production Division of SCE beyond traditional time-based maintenance by focusing on proactive asset health-based maintenance. It has enabled SCE to create asset reliability programs for plant equipment, which leverages condition data to do the right work at the right time. SCE's Power Production Division personnel played an active part during the solution evaluation.

"The goal of SCE's Power Production Division was to find a comprehensive reliability-focused asset management system that aligned with our reengineered maintenance planning and scheduling program," said Russ Krieger, SCE's, vice president of Power Production. "The Power Production Division selected Ivara as the right solution because of Ivara's in-depth evaluation and understanding of our requirements and because the Ivara solution is much more than a traditional maintenance system. It met all our needs for optimizing reliability."
