Umpqua Valley Christian 10, Gold Beach 1: Peter Benton Dr. Peter Benton was a surgeon on the television series ER from season one through season eight. Girls soccer

Roseburg 1, Sheldon 0: The Indians beat the host Irish 4-3 in a shootout after going scoreless through overtime.

Kate Wilton scored the deciding goal in the shootout.

Ali Foster got the shutout.

South Eugene 1, North Medford 0: The Axemen also won by a 4-3 score in a shootout, with Fola Adeniji scoring the deciding goal.

Dana Harrington and McKenzie Wooley shared the shutout through regulation and overtime, and Morany Chek had two saves in the shootout.

South Eugene outshot the Black Tornado tornado, dark, funnel-shaped cloud containing violently rotating air that develops below a heavy cumulonimbus cloud mass and extends toward the earth. The funnel twists about, rises and falls, and where it reaches the earth causes great destruction.  17-6.

Volleyball

Sheldon finished in a tie for fifth place at the Rogue Valley The Rogue Valley is a farming and timber-producing region in southwestern Oregon in the United States. located along the middle Rogue River and its tributaries in Josephine and Jackson counties, the valley forms the cultural and economic heart of southern Oregon near the California  Classic tournament at South Medford.

Gresham defeated Jesuit in the championship match.

The Irish beat Crater 25-6, 25-18 and Canby 25-23, 25-20 in pool play and downed Southridge 25-22, 16-25, 15-8 in the first round of bracket play before losing to Gresham 25-11, 25-8.

Chelsea Fosback and Heidi Kamp had 26 kills apiece to lead Sheldon.

It forms a tricity unit with Peru and Oglesby. Corn, wheat, and soybeans are grown, and cattle and hogs are raised.  25-14, 25-17.

KayCee Hallstrom led Marist with 21 kills, 11 digs and 40 assists, while KelCee Hallstrom had 19 kills and Whitney Hoff had 13 digs, 34 assists and seven aces.

Pleasant Hill also finished with a 3-3 record in the Silver Bracket.

In the Gold Bracket, Henley downed La Grande in two games.

North Douglas defeated Crow 25-17, 22-25, 15-10 in the championship match of the North Douglas-Yoncalla Tournament.

The Warriors defeated Oakland 25-18, 25-22 and Crow downed Elkton in three games in the semifinals.

Brooke Toy collected 33 kills, 35 digs, 24 assists and 20 aces, and Tiffany Tiffany, Tiffanie (UK)

a semi-longhaired version of the Burmese cat. It has a fine, silky coat in many colors.
 Mertens had 14 kills, eight blocks, 27 digs and 11 aces for North Douglas.
