(MTNA Division News).This is an exciting time for South Central Division and MTNA MTNA Music Teachers National Association MTNA Middle Tennessee Nursery Association (McMinnville, Tennessee) . Continuing to strive toward realizing our vision through the goals established by the MTNA Board of Directors truly is an adventuresome and inspirational journey. As we prepare to gather in Cincinnati for the 2002 MTNA National Conference, we look forward to divisional success. Texas Music Teachers Association (TMTA TMTA Transmeta (stock symbol) TMTA Texas Music Teachers Association TMTA Tennessee Mathematics Teachers Association TMTA Truro Morlaix Twinning Association (UK) ) boasts an "extra large" student population in its TMTA Student Affiliate Program with more than 16,000 registered state student members. TMTA utilizes an "extra large" student affiliate committee of coordinators who do "extra big" jobs to keep all the activities buzzing. They offer ensemble and chamber music concerts, testing in music history and theory, and competitions in performance, composition and publication. The theory program is a comprehensive program for keyboard students in grades 1 to 12, as well as a test for instrumental and vocal students. The publication contest awards prizes for winning essays on announced topics. Each school grade is assigned two topics, and a winner is declared for each topic. This is an additional way to include students at various levels of study.
