South Central Division.

Throughout the year our local associations bring in well-known clinicians or seek the talent of local teachers to provide educational and inspirational workshops. In Louisiana the Alexandria music teachers recently hosted Maurice Hinson, NCTM NCTM National Council of Teachers of Mathematics

NCTM North Carolina Transportation Museum
NCTM National Capital Trolley Museum
NCTM Nationally Certified in Therapeutic Massage
, and Catherine Rollin, NCTM. The Lafayette association did a "Present, Prepare, Perfect" program prepared by six outstanding local teachers. The teachers demonstrated each of the three Ps with students at different levels. The teachers enjoyed seeing their colleagues teach and requested similar future presentations.

The Tulsa, Oklahoma Tulsa is the second-largest city in the state of Oklahoma and 45th-largest in the United States. With an estimated population of 382,872 in 2006,[1] it is the principal municipality of the Tulsa Metropolitan Statistical Area, a region of 897,752 residents projected to , MTA held two workshops last fall: in September Peggy Otwell, keyboard editor for Hal Leonard, presented sessions on "French Sound and Style for the Elementary and Intermediate Student," and in October Martha Hilley, NCTM, from the University of Texas presented workshops on "Theory, the Vital Link" and "Your Computer and the Web."

Last November Texas teachers attended recitals, workshops and master classes presented by Nelita True, NCTM, at Abilene Christian University and Maurice Hinson, NCTM, at the University of Mary The university is the largest degree granting institution in Bismarck. It also operates accelerated degree programs at satellite locations in North Dakota, Montana, Wyoming, Kansas, and Missouri. History
The University of Mary was founded in 1955 by the Sisters of St.
 Hardin-Baylor, followed by receptions held by the local associations.
