South Bay warehouse.San Francisco-based industrial property developer and manager AMB AMB Ambient AMB Ambassador AMB Amber AMB Ambulance AMB Associação Médica Brasileira (Brazil) AMB Ambulatory AMB Advanced Memory Buffer (FBDIMM control unit on DRAM) Property Corp. has purchased a 64,200-square-foot warehouse in Gardena Gardena (gärdē`nə), city (1990 pop. 49,847), Los Angeles co., SW Calif., an industrial suburb of Los Angeles; inc. 1930. Often called "Freeway City" because of its proximity to several major roads, Gardena manufactures aircraft from Los Angeles-based TQ Properties. AMB was interested in the site because of its proximity to the interchange An interchange is a location where two things meet, usually perform some kind of exchange, and possibly go on their ways again. It is most commonly used in four contexts:
"It caught AMB's eye--the opportunity to buy a fairly new building," O'Donnell said. "It shows their continued appetite for good warehouse sites." The property at 13200 Broadway St. is now called the AMB Zuma Distribution center, and features a two-story warehouse that was built in 2002.
