Its products include navigation and computer systems, aircraft parts, office machines, telephone apparatus, and , Calif., for the second phase acoustical and architectural design services for the LAX residential soundproofing Soundproofing is any means of reducing the intensity of sound with respect to a specified source and receptor. There are several basic approaches to reducing sound: increasing the distance between source and receiver, using noise barriers to block or absorb the energy of the sound program. The $1,170,000 contract will provide for complete acoustical design services to approximately 600 local residences. The residential soundproofing program includes 8,900 eligible residences in the Los Angeles communities of Westchester and Playa playa or pan or flat or dry lake Flat-bottomed depression that is periodically covered by water.
