The Kobe case

Here's how I see the Kobe Bryant Kobe Bean Bryant (born July 23 1978(1978--)) is an American All-Star shooting guard in the National Basketball Association (NBA) who plays for the Los Angeles Lakers.  matter playing out. Oh, it'll cost him a million - a few million in working out his next contract with the Lakers See Lake poets . So what? He's already hired Pamela Mackey, "a prominent criminal lawyer from Denver," the Lakers will bring in their top legal talents plus Bryant's group of his own formidable lawyers, they'll make a liar out of the poor woman, give old Kobe a slap on the wrist and off we'll go.

Bryant will take the heat on the road, the Lakers will protect their investment, Bryant will retire a multi-millionaire and, of course, there will be no jail time.

Ah, the great sports fans. They forget and forgive (Kobe!! Kobe!!) and the slop of 2003 sports will continue.

His wife was "by his side," but giving him an SOB look in your paper. Pretty, of course. Wouldn't it be great if she staggered in one morning at 5 a.m. and said, "Hey, Kobe, just spent the night on the town, and it was great."
