Sophos adds proactive threat detection.


Sophos have announced the latest edition of Sophos enterprise solutions. Offering gateway, server and endpoint protection, enterprise solutions introduces Genotype genotype (jēn`ətīp'): see genetics.

This administration console incorporates a flexible management architecture that meets the needs of organisations looking to simplify the management of Windows and Macintosh anti-virus protection across their network of desktops and servers including those running in multiple locations. IT administrators benefit from a range of features including central deployment, enforceable network-wide anti-virus policies and integrated reporting. With the ability to manage by exception, IT administrators can also identify those computers with non-existent or outdated out·dat·ed
