Sony Electronics Launches Tape Storage Trade-In Program; Company Also Extends 24-Hour Swap Service to Three Years.

Sony Electronics Sony Electronics Inc., headquartered in San Diego, Calif., is the largest component of Sony Corporation of America, the U.S. holding company for Sony's U.S.-based electronics and entertainment businesses.  today announced a program offering a trade-in rebate on old and functioning storage equipment for new Sony tape drives or autoloaders. The trade-in rebate applies to used storage peripherals regardless of manufacturer, with purchase of new Sony tape products.
