BB:CYTP), which announced last week that it has signed a multi-million dollar deal with VoIP technology's fastest rising star, Sonus Networks (Nasdaq:SONS), is now beginning construction of what it believes will be the world's most advanced Internet telephony network. The high-speed network will depend heavily on Sonus' state-of-the-art switching technology to move VoIP and VoDSL traffic effectively and inexpensively. Both Cybertel and Sonus expect to have this revolutionary new telecommunications network fully functional in six major U.S. markets by September of this year.

"We are about to blow the doors off of the tired old telecommunications industry," declares Cybertel's CEO (1) (Chief Executive Officer) The highest individual in command of an organization. Typically the president of the company, the CEO reports to the Chairman of the Board. , Richard Mangiarelli. "We have worked hard over the last year or so to position our company as a true leader in the new breed of `Integrated Communications Providers' that are reinventing the industry. We are showing the residential and commercial consumer that one single company can be their best choice for local, long distance telephone service as well as high-speed Internet access, and DSL DSL

services in a single bundled digital product offering. And best of all, we are showing them that we can do it better and cheaper than the dinosaurs that have provided many of those services in the past."

Cybertel plans to expand its network over the next year to include 56 gateways around the U.S., which will serve the entire country. The Sonus gateways give Cybertel a significant advantage over its competition. Once installed, Cybertel will be the only other company with an all-IP network capable of worldwide 1+ dialing, besides Level 3 Communications
Not to be confused with L-3 Communications, a communications system company.

Level 3 Communications NASDAQ: LVLT is a communications and information services company headquartered in Broomfield, Colorado, USA.
(Nasdaq:LVLT LVLT Level 3 Communications, Inc. (stock abbreviation, AMEX) ). It will also make Cybertel the only company that focuses exclusively on Internet-based telephony and Internet services to possess this type of advanced IP network.

Cybertel has also beefed up its operations extensively over the past few months through strategic acquisitions. In April, the company acquired New York-based LDVL LDVL Language Definition and Versioning Language , one of the brightest newcomers in the B2B (Business to Business) Refers to one business communicating with or selling to another.  (DSL) service business, expanding Cybertel's VoIP telephony services from coast to coast. Other strategic acquisitions in the past year have included Telenomics and LikeDat, both of which are expected to help the company compete with integrated digital offerings.

"We didn't take the decision to partner with Sonus for our soft switch technology lightly," declares Mangiarelli. "We knew that we needed to be as far ahead of the competition as possible. Once they realize how far they are behind us, it'll take them a long time to catch up. By then, we should have a real stronghold on the market. Sonus' Super switches will help us achieve that stronghold."

Cybertel is expected to begin actual construction of its Sonus network in the next few weeks and plans on having its first six Sonus Super gateways online by the end of next month. That means that the company should have a total of 56 gateways up and running by year end allowing it to originate IP traffic anywhere in the U.S. and terminate anywhere in the world.

"We are planning to deploy POPs in over 120 cities in 56 major U.S. markets," adds Cybertel COO Peter Buswell. "We expect to use a combination of `dial around', local access and true 1+ carrier access over both DSL and VoIP. This means that we needed a true high density gateway, SS7 integration and an integrated Softswitch. SONUS was the only carrier class option on the table. We knew we couldn't build a truly better 1+ network alternative with modified PCs and the other tinker toys that have come to characterize the current crop of VoIP network deployments. Cybertel is about to change the American business communications landscape forever and we believe that only logical choice for a strategic equipment vendor was SONUS."

Cybertel predicts that very soon, you'll see that the telecommunications companies that don't have direct 1+ VoIP dialing capability resorting to calling card type programs where their clients have to dial either a local or 1-800 access number and enter a PIN code just to access someone else's IP network.

"This will severely limit their market potential because customers simply don't want to go through the hassle of dialing long strings of numbers every time they want to place a call. With our service, callers can continue to use their normal dialing patterns. They'll never have to dial any additional numbers or remember an access code, but they still be able to take advantage of the huge savings and superior communications that Internet telephony can offer," adds Mangiarelli.

By being first to market, coupled with "best of class technology and dramatically reduced transmission costs, Cybertel believes that it can offer integrated telecommunications service at levels that major telecom giants can't or won't match, while still maintaining high profit margins

The major telecoms are already scrambling to catch up with the Voice over IP leaders. Recently, an AT&T (NYSE NYSE
