Ostenfeld-Rosenthal stated that the management team is looking forward to the next several months of growth after the successful acquisition of the Rippy Oil Company properties in East Texas earlier this month. In addition, Ostenfeld-Rosenthal added that given Sonoran Energy's progress and active project status that the Company knows of no reason for the recent decline in the price of its common shares.

"We recently took full possession of three producing oil assets in East Texas," said Peter Ostenfeld-Rosenthal, President and CEO. "Cash flow from these properties will start coming to Sonoran Energy in mid-December, adding significantly to our operating capital Noun 1. operating capital - capital available for the operations of a firm (e.g. manufacturing or transportation) as distinct from financial transactions and long-term improvements

"With strong support from our funding partner Cornell Capital we have been able to successfully initiate our domestic production acquisition program," said Rasheed Rafidi, Sonoran Energy Chief Financial Officer. In addition to the Company's potential in the USA, the Company continues to evaluate several oil and gas opportunities in the Middle East, North Africa and Caspian Region. Sonoran Energy's Vice President of Exploration and New Ventures David Mackertich has been travelling extensively throughout the region and is currently evaluating a number of projects, and expects the Company to be in a position to announce its progress in this area before the end of the year.

"Our technical team is reviewing several attractive projects in the Middle East and North Africa that could present exciting opportunities to Sonoran Energy," said David Mackertich. "We are using our extensive geology and engineering expertise to properly evaluate these opportunities and be in a strong position to move forward with those that present the best long term upside potential Upside potential
