Sonofon Selects SLP's Customer Retention Application Solution; Key Customer Win in Northern Europe Strengthens SLP's Market Leader Position in Customer Retention Marketplace.


CHICAGO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Sept. 21, 1999--

SLP (Service Location Protocol) An IETF standard used to announce and discover services such as printers and file shares on an IP network. Apple used SLP prior to Mac OS 10.2, but migrated to its Bonjour technology. SLP is also used in SIP-based IP telephony applications.  InfoWare, a leading provider of knowledge-based customer retention application solutions, today announced that Sonofon (Denmark) has purchased SLP's Churn/Customer Profiling System(TM) (Churn/CPS).

Churn/CPS, an automated and scalable customer retention software application, will provide Sonofon with the ability to identify and approach customers that are vulnerable.
