Sonnenblick-Goldman company beefs up equity sales efforts.

Sonnenbliek-Goldman Company announced that it has enhanced its internal unit dedicated to equity sales in response to sharply increased demand for such transactions among the global investment community.

The department, which has been named The Sales Group, will be headed by William H. Stern, one of the principals of the firm. The group is intended to leverage Sonnenblick-Goldman's extensive track record in equity sales, which includes billions of dollars worth of transactions, and its numerous relationships among investors worldwide to create a super-specialist capability within the firm.

The firm said that, given its proven ability to identify, market and arrange property sales, it believes its renewed emphasis on the equity side of the business could have a significant. impact on the efficiency of the equity market overall.
