Sonnenblick arranges $300m deal for world famous hotel.

Sonnenblick Goldman, serving as exclusive financial advisor to Oasis West Realty LLC, has arranged a non-recourse $300 million refinancing for the world famous Beverly Hilton Hotel located in Beverly Hills, Calif.

The financing was provided by Column Financial, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Credit Suisse.

The iconic Beverly Hilton has a long and colorful history at the center of Beverly Hills entertainment--hosting countless awards shows, charity benefits and entertainment and motion picture industry events. The 569-room hotel is situated on nine acres of fee simple real estate at the prime intersection of Wilshire and Santa Monica Boulevards. Oasis West Realty LLC acquired the Hotel in December 2003 and has substantially completed a comprehensive $80 million renovation and successful repositioning of the hotel.

Oasis West Realty LLC has now formally commenced the entitlement process with the City of Beverly Hills to master develop and further improve the site, while respecting the existing hotel tower, the successful public areas, the function spaces of the hotel, as well as its important westerly gateway location in the City of Beverly Hills. The master plan will include improved high-end hotel facilities, new shared services, luxury residential accommodations, and new dining and retail facilities that will energize the site.
