Sonic Telecom Opens New Full-Time, Global Broadcast Service Operations Facility At McKibben Communications and Lights Enhanced Network.

Sonic Telecom, Ltd., today announced the Sonic Content Control Center (SC3) is now operating full-time (24x7) for scheduling, service implementation, monitoring and trouble resolution of Sonic Broadcast and Content services.

The new SC3 is collocated at the Los Angeles Los Angeles (lôs ăn`jələs, lŏs, ăn`jəlēz'), city (1990 pop. 3,485,398), seat of Los Angeles co., S Calif.; inc. 1850.  International MediaCenter(TM), owned and operated by McKibben Communications, LLC (Logical Link Control) See "LANs" under data link protocol.

, in Chatsworth, California. Sonic will continue to operate its core Sonic ATM network from the company's headquarters in Chantilly, VA.

The inauguration of Sonics new operations capability (SC3) is concurrent with its Thomson Nextream-based network enhancement completed this week as well. The enhanced network increases Sonic's occasional service capacity by 400%, offering true switched virtual circuits (SVC's) and on-demand scaleable bandwidth.
