Sonic Garden Announces Compilation CD & New Featured Artists.

SAN FRANCISCO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--April 11, 2002

Sonic Garden, Inc. is pleased to announce this month's new Featured Artists in the "Listeners' Choice" and "The Buzz" sections of the Sonic Garden Music Community and the release of "electronica 2002," a FreshNectar Compilation.

In the first of a series of compilations albums to be released, "electronica 2002," a FreshNectar Compilation was distributed at the Winter Music Conference in Miami and will soon be available on the Sonic Garden website. The "electronica 2002" project is a collaboration between Sonic Garden label partner We Are One Records and FreshNectar, the development and promotional division of Sonic Garden's Hot Olive Records.

"electronica 2002" features music from The Cuban, Torin, lazarus, Funky Sam's 747, Tasti Box, IOS (1) (Internetwork Operating System) An operating system from Cisco that is the primary control program used in its routers. IOS is widely used and robust system software that supports the common functions of all products under Cisco's CiscoFusion architecture. , Hook, Kinetika, Zebra Matrix, Conscious Groove, Stepchyld, Eurotrash, Damokles & DJ Illusion.

"For many independent artists, one of the biggest challenges is connecting with new fans outside of their hometown," commented Hot Olive Records GM Keith Bailey Keith Bailey (born 21 February 1964 in Dublin) is a former Irish cricketer. "Our compilation CDs and featured artist selections are one way we work to help independent artists gain exposure to a larger audience and the feedback serves as a great resource for us in planning future promotions and in working with our label partners and our own label."

The Sonic Garden music community provides a free and easy-to-use outlet for independent artists and labels to promote their music. In addition to their music, bio and pictures, artists can upload videos, tour information and band news to their artist page. "Listeners' Choice" and "The Buzz" sections on the site are rotated regularly and are used to spotlight selected bands and artists in each genre.
