 of America to bundle three of its popular software products with Yamaha's AW4416 Digital Audio Workstation.

The AW4416 is compatible with the PC (Windows 95 or higher) platform and includes Sonic Foundry's popular ACID(TM) Style, a loop-based music creation tool; Sound Forge(R) XP 4.5, a two-track audio editor; and SIREN(TM) XPress, an audio jukebox that provides unlimited WMA (Windows Media Audio) An audio compression method from Microsoft. Known originally as MSAudio, this proprietary format competes with the MP3 and AAC methods. WMA encodes rapidly and is known to be especially effective at low bit rates.  encoding and 10 free MP3 encodes.

About AW4416 Digital Audio Workstation

The AW4416 contains full 32-bit DSP (1) (Digital Signal Processor) A special-purpose CPU used for digital signal processing applications (see definition #2 below).
