Sonic Drive-In Orders Up Email and Calendar Services from Mirapoint; Web-based Email and Calendar Solution Connects Sonic's PartnerNet Users.

SUNNYVALE, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Oct. 15, 2002

Mirapoint, a leading provider of Internet messaging systems, announced today that Sonic Drive-Ins. (Nasdaq/NM:SONC SONC Special Olympics Northern California ), operator and franchiser of the nation's largest chain of drive-in restaurants, has selected the Mirapoint messaging platform for email and calendaring services for its new Sonic PartnerNet portal. This portal provides corporate and franchise drive-in operators with easy access to powerful communications tools, sales data reporting functions, franchise group communications and support resources such as online training materials.
