Aled Jones (born 29 December 1970) is a Welsh singer and television/radio personality and broadcaster who first came to fame as a boy soprano.
 returns to the region next week to record an episode of Songs of Praise.

The Llandegfan singer will record the show at Capel Annibynwyr, Y Bala, at 7pm on Wednesday.

The programme will examine Bala's close links with Patagonia and will feature hymns recorded in the South American region.

Bala residents are urged to join in the recording which will be broadcast on Sunday Sunday: see Sabbath; week. , February 26.

Programme producer the Rev Medwyn Hughes said: "We are hoping to make this a very special programme and with the help of the people of the Bala area make it one to remember.

"Although thousands of miles apart we want to feature both sets of congregations singing along with each other and show audiences here the very special connection that Bala has with Patagonia."
