Somali militias may execute Muslims who skip prayers.


Islamic militias are stepping up their efforts to bring strict religious law to war-ravaged Somalia.

After ousting warlords Warlords may refer to:

 widely reported to have been financially supported by the American government, heavily armed militias have backed the efforts of Islamic leaders to bring Somalia under sharia religious law.

In June, not long after the Islamic militias captured Somalia's capital of Mogadishu, Mohamed All Aden told The New York New York, state, United States

An edict can be distinguished from a public proclamation in that an edict puts a new statute into effect whereas a public proclamation is no more than a declaration of a law
 that those who did not pray five times a day in accordance with a strict reading of the Koran would face the death penalty.

One who does not believe in the existence of a God, who will reward or punish in this world or that which is to come. Willes' R. 550.
