The city council of asgow, Scotland has authorized 18,000 to John Beech Limited to complete testing in advance of a full cleanup. Currently the metals are risking future contamination of the city's water supply. Solucorp's ability to proceed forward with the entire cleanup will be the subject of a number of contingencies which includes, amongst others, appropriation of funds permitting approvals.

John Beech has also received confirmations from its Portuguese consultants, Bullen Consultants, that it is in receipt of a letter from the government of Portugal The Government is one of the four sovereignty organs of the Portuguese Republic. Bullen Consultants intends to sign the contract before the end of September and begin sampling and design works immediately for completion by January 1997. Further, Bullen Consultants states to John Beech Ltd. that if the treatability study for the use of Solucorp's MBS technology is successful, Bullen Consultants will recommend the use of the MBS soil remediation process in the treatment of 900,000 tons of contaminated soil on the project.

The MBS process has previously proven itself highly effective in bringing both chromium and multiple metals contaminated sites to "non-detect" status which is well beneath both U.S. "EPA EPA eicosapentaenoic acid.
