The new Solo 1400 notebook computer A laptop computer that weighs in a range from five to seven pounds. The term originated when laptops were routinely more than 10 pounds, and those that became lighter were placed in a special "notebook" category. In practice, notebook computer and laptop computer are synonymous.  includes a high-resolution 14.1-inch XGA (EXtended Graphics Array) A screen resolution of 1,024x768 pixels. The term stems from IBM's XGA display standard introduced in 1990, which extended VGA to 132-column text and interlaced 1,024x768x256 resolution. XGA-2 later added non-interlaced 1,024x768x64K.  TFT (Thin Film Transistor) The term typically refers to active matrix screens on laptop computers. Weighing 6.8 points, this model allows users to stay connected in a variety of settings with optional integrated wireless connectivity using Wi-Fi technology, an integrated V.92 56K modem and integrated 10/100 Ethernet. An 850MHz (MegaHertZ) One million cycles per second. It is used to measure the transmission speed of electronic devices, including channels, buses and the computer's internal clock. A one-megahertz clock (1 MHz) means some number of bits (16, 32, 64, etc.  Intel Celeron processor and 128MB of RAM memory (expandable to 512 MB) are included.
