HISTORY buffs are being invited to join other enthusiasts at a meeting next week.

Knowle Society, a group set up to protect the interests of the village, will be meeting up on Monday.

The group gets together on the third Monday of each month at Knowle Village Hall, in St John's Close, at 8pm At next week's meeting Harry Gresty will give an illustrated talk on The Monologues of Stanley Holloway and on June 20, there will be a walk along the canals which leaves from the Guild House at 7.30pm.
