RMRTM Version 2 adds Predictive Health Monitoring, providing early-warning capabilities via SNMP network alerts, preventing conditions that may lead to compromised operation.

Predictive Health Monitoring Enhances System Availability

Solid Data's unique RMR Version 2 proactively notifies IT managers of potential failure conditions - before any degradation in system operation occurs. One of the keys to Solid Data's 2 million-hour mean-time-between-failure (MTBF) its extensive Error Correction Code (ECC) algorithm that utilizes a full 64 bytes per 512 bytes for error detection and correction. Solid Data's ECC is silicon-based, providing the advantages of higher speed and lower latency, versus other vendors' software-based algorithms. This industry-leading degree of ECC is now supplemented by Predictive Health Monitoring, which sends SNMP alerts when the acceptable level of correctable soft errors is exceeded.
