Solana Beach Extends the Deadline for Citizen Interest Forms to January 6, 2005.

SOLANA BEACH, Calif. -- The City of Solana Beach has announced an extension for interested citizens who desire to serve on the City's five (5) Committees and Commissions. The following vacancies will exist in January 2005 for Council review and appointment. Council will make appointments at their Wednesday, January 19, 2005 Regular Council Meeting.

--Budget and Finance Committee (3 vacancies)

--Parks and Recreation Commission (4 vacancies)

--Public Arts Advisory Commission (3 vacancies)

--Public Safety Commission (4 vacancies)

--View Assessment Committee (5 vacancies)

Citizen Interest Forms (applications) can be obtained at the City Clerk's Office or on the City's Website at http://www.ci.solana-beach.ca.us/commissions.cfm and will be accepted until 5:30 p.m. on Thursday, January 6, 2005 at the City Clerk's Office, located at the Solana Beach Civic Center, 635 South Highway 101 in Solana Beach.
