Bromides are formed by the reaction of bromine or a bromide with another substance; they are widely distributed in nature. Sand after a successful Drillstem test at approximately 6,850 feet. Anticipated daily production from this zone is 75 - 150 BOPD BOPD Barrels of Oil Per Day BOPD Bataan Ocean Petroleum Depot and 100 - 250 MCFGPD. This 1st Bromide Sand target is the first of two targets planned for the South Maysville Well. Drilling operations will continue beyond this first target, towards the 2nd Bromide Sand zone at 6,900 feet, which is the primary target for the South Maysville Well. Barring any unforeseen problems, this primary target will be reached and if necessary also Drillstem tested within the next 24 hours. It is anticipated that this second zone will also be productive of both oil and gas. About South Maysville Prospect The South Maysville Prospect is one of three oil and gas prospects located in Oklahoma and collectively known as the Garvin County Drilling Program. The South Maysville Prospect is situated on the Southwest flank of a large broad Northwest plunging anticlinorium in the Pauls Valley Uplift geological province. Many small to medium size anticlinal anticlinal /an·ti·clin·al/ (-kli´n'l) sloping or inclined in opposite directions. an·ti·cli·nal adj. Inclined in opposite directions, as two sides of a pyramid. and fault bound traps in this province have been developed to produce prolific amounts of Simpson oil. It is common for the Simpson 2nd Bromide sand, which is the primary objective of the Maysville prospect, to produce in excess of 500 barrels of oil per acre-foot. Further, the Simpson 1st Bromide sands also primary objectives, commonly produce in excess of 300 barrels of oil per acre-foot.
