Soho office property makes scents for leading companies.

, a subsidiary of The Olnick Organization and owner of 270 Lafayette Street, has recently leased more than 14,000 s/f of office space to several leading companies, including a new headquarters office for Kenzo Parfums North America North America, third largest continent (1990 est. pop. 365,000,000), c.9,400,000 sq mi (24,346,000 sq km), the northern of the two continents of the Western Hemisphere. , a subsidiary of LVMH LVMH Moët Hennessy-Louis Vuitton (upscale retailer)  Group (Louis Vuitton The Louis Vuitton Company (more commonly known simply as Louis Vuitton) is a luxury French fashion and leather goods brand and company, headquartered in Paris, France. It is a division of the French holding company, LVMH Louis Vuitton Moët Hennessy S.A. ).

Other new tenants at the 15-story property include Riptide Communications, a social issues public relations public relations, activities and policies used to create public interest in a person, idea, product, institution, or business establishment. By its nature, public relations is devoted to serving particular interests by presenting them to the public in the most  firm; Flash Films, which produces children's cartoon films; Modern Consumer, an Internet company; Abrams Scott Realty realty n. a short form of "real estate." In addition to the new leases, several existing tenants have expanded their space at the building, including RSA-USA, Inc., production company for the feature film BlackHawk Down; Wettling Architects; and Widescreen See wide screen.  Ltd.

Steven Marvin of Olmstead Properties negotiated the new and expanded office leases on behalf of the landlord.

The retail component of the property at the corner of Lafayette and Prince Streets has been leased to trendy fashion retailer G-Star Raw in a deal arranged on behalf of the landlord by Faith Hope Consolo and Joseph A. Aquino of Garrick-Aug Worldwide, Ltd.

"Because 270 Lafayette Street is meticulously maintained to a premium standard, it is a magnet for highly successful fashion-savvy, creative arts and high-tech companies," said Frank Czerwinski, Vice President of The Olnick Organization.

"In addition, the property's location in an upscale neighborhood surrounded by trendy shops, art galleries and cafes further underscores its appeal for these particular firms."

"The property is a historic building and yet we have incorporated significant state-of-the-art improvements while maintaining its original architectural details," said Bruce Simon, executive vice President of The Olnick Organization.

"This month, we will commence a complete renovation and upgrade of all the building's hallways and restrooms to provide the most comfortable and attractive office environment available in SoHo."

270 Lafayette Street is managed by Hampton Management Company, LLC, an affiliate of The Olnick Organization, Inc. and is leased by Olmstead Properties, Inc.
