TORONTO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--April 7, 1997--LinkAge Software Inc. and Software Spectrum Corporation today announced the signing of a worldwide reseller agreement.

Under terms of this agreement, Software Spectrum will provide sales, service and support for LinkAge's entire family of LAN-to-LAN messaging connectivity solutions. This family includes the popular LinkAge Exchange-Notes connector -- the world's first direct messaging connection between Microsoft Exchange Messaging and groupware software for Windows from Microsoft. Exchange Server is an Internet-compliant e-mail system that runs under Windows NT/2000 and Windows Server 2003. It can be accessed by Web browsers, the Exchange client, versions of Outlook and the earlier Windows Inbox.  and Lotus Notes Messaging and groupware software from IBM Lotus that was introduced in 1989 for OS/2 and later expanded to Windows, Mac, Unix, NetWare, AS/400 and S/390. Notes provides e-mail, document sharing, workflow, group discussions and calendaring and scheduling.  -- and the LinkAge Exchange-cc:Mail connector.

Agreement Particulars

Under terms of the agreement, Software Spectrum will be responsible for providing first- and second-level product support for LinkAge LAN-to-LAN connectivity products on a worldwide basis. Professionals within the Technology Services Group will be trained by LinkAge to install, configure and support those offerings.

In addition, they will be trained to provide a broad range of value-added services, including consultation, implementation, integration and ongoing customer training.
