Softscape Names Head of Organizational Effectiveness Practice: Bruce Sevy to Shape Competency Development Consulting.

) Practice. This division marks one of the newest services offered by Softscape, which reported 300% growth in FY 2000. The OEC practice is dedicated to improving clarity, understanding, and measurable accountabilities within companies. Competency-based Assessment Expert

Sevy brings to Softscape 19 years of applied experience in designing and implementing innovative HR applications ranging from multi-rater assessment systems and performance management tools to integrated recruitment and selection systems. A nationally recognized expert in the development and validation of competency-based assessment tools and processes, Sevy's work in designing and implementing HR systems has resulted in hundreds of millions of dollars in documented return-on-investment. He has helped managers and executives enhance their personal effectiveness and skills in developing talent within their organizations. Additionally, Sevy has trained more than 1,000 managers in the techniques of effective behavioral interviewing.

Previously with the HayGroup

Prior to joining Softscape, Sevy was Director of the HayGroup's Global Diagnostics practice. There he was responsible for the business unit charged with assessing and providing developmental feedback to more than 20,000 senior level managers and executives annually.
